Background of the business
STEM began in May 2021 when the founder, Eve McKellar, began offering private Sports Massage in Hinckley. As the business grew, I decided to expand and open a Sports Therapy Clinic at Fosse Fitness.
What is Sports Therapy?
Sports Therapy utilises different modalities of treatment in order to help support and speed up the healing process within sporting injuries. Knowledge on prevention and reduction of injury, advice with nutrition, training and recovery can be given by a professional. Exercise rehabilitation is a key aspect to recovery of musculoskeletal injuries alongside the application of treatment methods such as sports massage, cupping, needling, mobilisations, stretching techniques, manual therapy and sports taping. Qualified Sports Therapists often have the skill set for emergency first aid and pitch side trauma during events or games.

Eve is incredible, i cant thank her enough! I've had lower back pain for years and it's gradually got worse and worse, I've seen multiple Sports therapists and things have seen little to no improvement at times. In just one session with Eve she was able to give me a prognosis and treat the issue and my pain is virtually gone, I'm sleeping the best I've slept in years, completely pain free. She's so knowledgeable and really explains everything to you. My only regret is not seeing her sooner!

Eve is professional and efficient. I booked an appointment to assess a knee/quad injury. I received quality treatment and an aftercare plan. As a professional athlete I was able to perform at my best again since visiting STEM! Would definitely recommend for all ages and treatments.

We are based inside Fosse Fitness in Syston, Leicestershire.
Our small clinic room is located right next to the main reception so please head in and follow the signs there.
Parking on site is free of charge and the building is a 12 minute walk from Syston train station.
